Meet Kerry

I’m Kerry and I’m thrilled to be offering Spanish language classes for children. ‘Amiguitos’ offers extracurricular Spanish classes to children using the award-winning La Jolie Ronde Spanish programmes. I teach in person classes in community centres across Exeter. My classes consist of a range of lively and engaging activities such as songs, games, stories, puppets, rhymes, and actions to make them fun and memorable for children. I also love sharing little nuggets of Spanish and Latin American culture too. I'm a qualified and experienced Spanish teacher and I've lived in both Spain and Mexico. Since becoming a Mum, I’ve come to realise the importance of early expose to language learning and how essential this is in developing children’s confidence and enjoyment of foreign languages, as well as building solid foundations for further language learning in school. I truly believe speaking a foreign language opens a whole world of opportunities and is a skill for life.
