We are passionate about science and we aim to inspire a new generation to be curious through our interactive classes.
Our theme tune’s opening line is ‘Science is all around us’, this reflects the ethos of the classes and encourages the children to think about and to explore the world around them.
Children have a thirst for knowledge and can understand scientific principles explained in simple terms with fun experiments in which they can touch, see and hear to help them understand.
If you can't come to us - we will come to you. To help keep you safe and supported during this critical time we are taking our service ONLINE! We will be running classes live in your living room, bringing our amazing sessions to you from our ‘virtual’ classrooms... you’ll even still get to chat to the other attendees too.
Mini Professors award winning weekly science classes are suitable for 2 to 5 year olds. Classes are interactive, cover a different and exciting scientific topic every week and most importantly, they are loads of FUN! Every week there are hands on experiments, activities, a story and teaching moments where we use interesting props to keep the Mini Professors engaged.

Mini Professors Dundee has sessions on a Monday at Showcase the Street and a Tuesday at Logie & St John's.
2 years to 5 years
Classes are booked in termly block which vary in length but are charged at £8/class. There is also the option to book a 3 week trial block for £24 for all new customers.

Meet Ailsa Phillips
Hi, I'm Ailsa! 👋
Before starting with Mini Professors I was a secondary school Chemistry teacher. I absolutely loved teaching science in school but I also wanted to have more control over my working days. So when the opportunity to run Mini Professors came along I jumped at the chance!
Absolute dream job, I still get to teach science but this time it's purely with the intention of kids having fun and getting involved (no exams to prep for🙌)!
I would love to have you and your Mini Professor in class soon - I'm sure you'll both love investigating and learning all about the amazing world around us :)
