Sing and Sign classes combine the benefits of both music and baby signing using nursery rhymes and action songs to stimulate language development. We teach a wide range of signs using some traditional and some specially written or adapted songs. What makes Sing and Sign special is that every sign used in song relates to those important first words of a baby's world! Nappies and bath time, hiding games and bedtime. You name it, we have a song about it, and the babies just love to hear them! With a high standard of educational content and additional, supporting online content, this is a relaxing, enjoyable and unpressured way for you and your baby to learn about baby signing, social interaction, sharing, tidying up and much more.

Meet Jan Nightingale
My name is Jan and I've been teaching Sing & Sign classes since 2009 and love every minute of it! When I heard about Sing & Sign and all its great benefits, I couldn't wait to start with my daughter, Louisa. She loved the classes and benefited not only from the signing but also from the music, the social interaction and from learning social skills like taking turns, tidying up and sharing. After four terms of attending classes I became a teacher and later the franchisee for Coventry and Kenilworth!
When I had my second child I knew he would be seeing signs from an early age but didn't truly appreciate how much I would come to value his ability to sign. James had few words at the age of two but around 50 signs and could happily tell me at the breakfast table that he could see a 'bird' in the 'tree' in our 'garden'!
I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to help families across Coventry and Kenilworth to communicate with their babies before and during the early phases of speech, to ease those frustrations felt by baby and carer! It's such a privilege and so much fun to do for everyone that I can't imagine doing anything else!
