Here at The Dance Centre, we create a vibrant and unique family for Dance excellence with the focus on Performance and Technical Training in the disciplines of: Ballet, Modern, Tap, Contemporary and Street Dance.

We are a private examination centre offering ISTD exams in Tap, Ballet and Modern. (We also offer Acting, Musical Theatre, Public Speaking and Shakespeare exams as part of our Stage School.)

Our team are exceptional, passionately led by our vastly experienced and hugely talented Artistic Director. Our structure, ethos and programme of study is exceptional.
We are unique, boasting the Dance Centre, the Stage School and our own bespoke Pre-School Programmes. We create one space for all training needs in Dance and Performing Arts from 3yrs to Adult, offering 1-1's, performance opportunities, award winning national and international competition squads and specialising in supporting and prepping pathways for higher education entry and young professionals.

Our focus at all times is the 'family' that we create to enable young dancers to learn, develop and thrive.
We aim to shape the ‘all round dancer’ with a Student led approach and to instil an understanding and appreciation of the self-discipline, self-awareness and focus that is required to work successfully in this field.
We teach the valuable life skills that every young person can gain through Performance training, creating independent and brave young performers on stage and in life.
