Welcome to Bristol Academy of Drama (B.A.D.).
We are a 5* rated affordable drama school offering children of all ages the opportunity to engage in theatre
and performance in its many forms.
The Academy’s team of facilitators work with students to build their team work and confidence skills through drama games and, through improvisation and role play, they learn about the many different theatre styles from mask work to physical theatre and mime to shadow theatre.
We cater to all levels of ability, from the confident performer to those children who may not yet have the self-assurance to take centre stage. Through engagement with drama, children increase their social skills by working as a team, they learn to speak clearly and express themselves with confidence and expand creative thinking skills which benefits all areas of learning
