Jo Jingles has been running since 1991 and is one of the UK's largest providers of fun and interactive pre-school music, singing and movement classes – for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years!
A happy little fellow dressed in red and yellow, Jo Jingles, our cheery mascot doll, loves to wave, clap and stamp his feet…. but most of all he loves to meet babies and young children to share the fun!
Delivered by specially trained and experienced class teachers, our themed sessions are educational with musical instruments for each child and lots of props including parachute, lycra, puppets, bubbles and more!
By introducing your child to the fun world of music at an early age you will help them:
- Build routine and structure
- Improve language and speech
- Stimulate imagination
- Build social skills and make friends
- Find and feel rhythm to move and dance
- Improve balance and coordination
Come and join in the fun! Classes are age specific and run for 30 - 45 minutes during term time.
But the learning experience goes further than that!
- Every child will get some hands-on fun with at least two percussion instruments each week including for example: Tambourines, Drums, Bells and Shakers.
Watch as they join in with Little Jo who brings special surprises in his bag each week and is always ready to move to the music with fun actions – and with over 1,000 songs under his belt, from old favourites to the more unique, you can rest assured every class is different from one week to the next!

Meet Laura Davidson
I have been teaching Jo Jingles classes for over 15 years!! I initially worked for Jo Jingles South Manchester as a class teacher, I absolutely loved it so when the opportunity came along to run my own Franchise I jumped at the chance!
I bought Jo Jingles North East Cheshire in 2007, I expanded in 2010 adding Jo Jingles Tameside to my buisness and then more recently in 2020 I expanded again adding Jo Jingles South Manchester!
Since I was a young I knew I wanted to work with children, when I left school I went to college and did a National Diploma in Early Childhood Studies. I then went on to achieve my HNC in the same subject.
Since owning the buisnesses I have gone on to have 2 children of my own, I was very blessed to be given a boy and a girl. Jo Jingles fits in perfectly with their school timetable and school holidays meaning I get to do my first favourite job of being a Mummy as well as owning and running my own buisness.
I have 2 class teachers, Karen who has been teaching Jo Jingles classes for over 10 years and Alison who joined us in 2021. Both Karen and Alison are absolutely fantastic and I am very lucky to have them as part of the team. They both have families of their own, Karen has twin teenage girls and Alison has 2 girls and a boy.
