Junior Medics - first aid sessions for children
Its cool when you can help someone when they’re hurt or unwell.
Tie a sling, bandage a head, treat a cut or putting someone into the recovery position – it’s these and other little but important things that can make all the difference.
KeepaBeat has developed first aid courses for children which as well as being a great confidence builder, will leave them equipped to deal with life’s little dramas

Meet Jayne O'Loughlin
Hi. I'm Jayne and for some time now, I have been teaching baby and child first aid sessions to parents and carers across Devon and Cornwall. I am really excited to now be offering Junior Medic sessions for children.
I feel very passionately that everyone should know basic first aid skills and that you are never too young to start!
Initially I trained as a radiographer and worked for ten years in a large Devon hospital before having a change of career and retraining as a primary school teacher. Having been the designated first aider within school, I have been involved in a variety of first aid situations over the years!
I am a grandma to a very active little boy and I feel very passionately that everyone involved in a child's care needs to be first aid trained - it's all about peace of mind.
