The Academy Performing Arts gives children a good grounding in singing, dance and acting techniques. Children thrive in the purpose built facilities we offer. All children make close friendships at The Academy which helps boost their self-confidence. Our tutors nurture our children to help them achieve their best. A large proportion of our children have never performed on stage before joining us and have gone on to great things. We have a relaxed policy to uniform, encouraging the children to be themselves and wear their own clothes. However, sensible attire for dancing in is a must and branded clothing is available to purchase. All tutors have many years experience in the discipline(s) they teach. They are passionate about their individual area of expertise and give the children plenty of opportunity to express themselves. As well as the serious learning, the children also have fun playing theatre based games and assemble at the end of the day to show some of their work in progress.
