Sing and Sign Babes is a relaxing and fun way for babies and parents to learn about the building blocks of communication.

Sing and Sign classes are based around song, music and rhyme. Some traditional songs you'll already know, and some have been especially developed for Sing and Sign.
Sing and Sign Babes is a lovely gentle class - lots of time to relax, have a chat and connect with other new parents, and of course, to learn the signs and songs that you can use at home with your baby. It is a “slow” class, designed to support and encourage you and your baby to establish amazing communication skills, rather than a high octane sensory class. Our focus is on providing you and your baby with the tools and skills to establish a relationship brimming with confidence, trust and understanding.
There are a limited number of spaces in our classes, so that both baby and parent can feel safe and relaxed and easily see and hear the teacher.
As the classes are progressive in nature, and we build on signs and songs we have learned in previous weeks, Sing and Sign sessions are only available as a block booking, and not drop in.

Meet Sarah Silsby

I attended Sing and Sign classes with my 2 boys (now aged 8 and 4). We absolutely loved it! Both of the boys enjoyed the singing, instrument playing, and of course seeing Jessie Cat. But we also found it really useful as we learned our signs together. Dylan and Ryan were both able to express themselves and let us know what they needed and wanted long before they could talk. It was great to see Dylan recalling all of his signs once his brother started to sign, so that the 2 of them could communicate easily before Ryan could talk.
